We spent the day with our dear friends the Powell's, at Saguaro National Park near Tucson. There were many interesting plants in the desert, some blooming. The vistas are wonderful.
The saguaro cacti are awesome. They were not blooming (yet), but we got pictures of some of the dead plants, which are also very impressive.
