We visited this little town to see their annual BBQ competition. The smell of wood and meat smoke was heady!

We spent the day with our dear friends the Powell's, at Saguaro National Park near Tucson. There were many interesting plants in the desert, some blooming. The vistas are wonderful.

The saguaro cacti are awesome. They were not blooming (yet), but we got pictures of some of the dead plants, which are also very impressive.

One of those magnificent sunsets in Arizona. We are getting ready to leave the area, now that winter is done, and hot, hot, summer is on the way....

We already had solar installed in January, but now we are going to LEARN something about our electrical system. This image is from our installation of the Trimetric metering system. We should now be able to find out just how much capacity our battery bank has, how much charge is being received by the solar, and how much we are drawing after dark when boondocking.
